Yoyogi International School

Yoyogi International School (YIS) is a boutique international school located in the vibrant Yoyogi neighborhood of Shibuya, Tokyo. Founded in 1999, YIS has built its reputation on combining rigorous academics with an intimate, caring community environment. The school operates two campuses: the main Yoyogi Campus for students aged 6–14, and the nearby Tomigaya Campus for younger children aged 4–6. Yoyogi International School is an authorized IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP), providing internationally recognized education to students from diverse nationalities. The school's small class sizes and low student-to-teacher ratios ensure highly personalized attention and support for each learner. YIS fosters a love of lifelong learning and cultivates caring, globally aware individuals. The school's mission since its founding has remained steadfast: to develop students from any stage of their academic journey into independent thinkers.
