Woodward Academy

Woodward Academy, founded in 1900, is one of the largest and most prestigious independent schools in the Southeast, serving approximately 2,800 students in Pre-K through Grade 12 across two campuses in College Park and North Metro Atlanta. Accredited by SACS and SAIS, Woodward is a nationally recognised institution offering both Advanced Placement courses and the IB Diploma Programme at the secondary level. The school's proximity to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport — the world's busiest — reflects College Park's historic role in Atlanta's aviation and logistics community. Woodward's alumni roster includes Pulitzer Prize winners, US senators, corporate CEOs, and celebrated artists. The school's comprehensive athletics programme, award-winning arts facilities, and 130-acre main campus provide an unparalleled independent school experience in the Atlanta metro area. Woodward combines academic excellence with a strong tradition of community service and leadership development.
