Wellington College International Shanghai

Wellington College International Shanghai (WCIS) is a leading bilingual British international school in Pudong, part of the Wellington College family that traces its roots to Wellington College in Berkshire, UK, founded in 1859. The school serves students aged 2–18, offering the English National Curriculum through to IGCSE and the IB Diploma Programme. Wellington Shanghai holds authorization as an IB World School and is accredited by the Council of International Schools. With boarding available for senior students, WCIS offers a distinctive residential education experience in Shanghai. The school's bilingual program ensures students develop both English and Mandarin proficiency. Wellington's famous 'Five Domains' educational philosophy — intellectual, moral, physical, spiritual, and social — provides a holistic framework for student development. With approximately 1,500 students from diverse international and Chinese backgrounds, WCIS celebrates cultural diversity while maintaining high academic standards. The modern Pudong campus features excellent academic facilities, a performing arts center, swimming pool, and sports fields. Graduates consistently gain admission to top universities globally.
