Waldorf School of Ljubljana

Waldorf School Ljubljana is one of Slovenia's most respected alternative educational institutions, offering authentic Waldorf-Steiner education from Early Years through secondary level. The school provides a holistic educational experience based on the principles of Rudolf Steiner, integrating academic learning with arts, crafts, music, drama, and movement. Education is delivered in Slovenian with strong English and German language instruction from an early age. Waldorf Ljubljana is part of the worldwide Waldorf school movement, with over 1,000 schools in 60 countries, and maintains connections with European Waldorf schools. The school's age-appropriate, developmentally sensitive curriculum develops the whole child — intellectually, artistically, and practically. Families from Slovenia and internationally are drawn to Waldorf Ljubljana's approach to education, which emphasises creativity, intrinsic motivation, and the development of independent, globally aware young people.
