Tirana International School

Tirana International School (TIS) is operated by Quality Schools International (QSI), a non-profit organization that has served the expatriate and local community in Albania since the early 1990s. Located in the leafy Vilat Gjermane neighborhood of Tirana, TIS provides an American-curriculum education from preschool through Grade 12, with instruction entirely in English. The school holds full accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and is a member of the Central and Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA). Small class sizes allow for individualized attention and a supportive learning environment. Students benefit from modern science labs, a well-stocked library, computer facilities, and extensive sports grounds. Extracurricular activities including arts, music, and competitive sports round out the academic program. TIS primarily serves the children of diplomats, NGO staff, and multinational executives, while also welcoming Albanian families seeking an international education. Graduates are consistently accepted at universities worldwide. Age range: 3–18.
