The Renaissance International School - Oakland Campus

Founded in 1992 based on Montessori principles, The Renaissance International School offers a trilingual, Spanish, French and English immersion program for students from age 2 to Middle School. Its Montessori approach ties separate disciplines together to encourage students to think about their subjects from a variety of perspectives. At the foundation of TRIS’s educational program is the belief that students learn through experience. TRIS has two campuses, one in Oakland and the other Piedmont, both of which are committed to creating a multicultural and multidisciplinary environment for students to engage the world thoughtfully and with curiosity.
