The Japanese School Singapore

The Japanese School Singapore (JSS) is one of the oldest Japanese schools outside Japan, established in 1912. The school serves approximately 1,700 students across three campuses: West Coast (Primary), Clementi (Primary), and Changi (Secondary). JSS follows the Japanese National Curriculum set by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT). The school provides authentic Japanese education for children of Japanese expatriate families while maintaining connections to Japanese culture and educational traditions. Students prepare for transition back to schools in Japan or continuation in Japanese educational pathways.
