The International School Yangon

The International School Yangon (ISY) is a distinguished international school in Yangon, Myanmar, established in 1955. Located on Shwe Taungyar Street in the Bahan Township, ISY serves students from age 3 (Early Years) through Grade 12 with a comprehensive American-based education. The school's Early Years program includes Chinthe Cubs (ages 3-4) and Kindergarten using Reggio-inspired approaches. Elementary and Middle School students follow a U.S.-based curriculum enriched with service learning, arts, sports, and languages. In Grades 11 and 12, ISY offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
