The International Academy Amman

The International Academy Amman (IAA) is a leading co-educational IB World School located in the Dabouk area of Al Hashmieh, Amman, serving students from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12 (ages 3–18). Established in 1992, IAA is authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organization to deliver the full IB continuum: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and IB Diploma Programme (DP). The school's philosophy centres on nurturing inquiring, knowledgeable, and caring young people who help create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding. IAA has built a strong reputation for outstanding IB Diploma results, with graduates gaining entry to leading universities in the USA, UK, Europe, and the Arab world. The bilingual English-Arabic learning environment reflects IAA's dual commitment to international academic excellence and Jordanian national identity. The campus spans a large site in the western hills of Amman with modern classrooms, fully-equipped science and technology labs, an arts centre, gymnasium, and extensive outdoor sports areas. IAA is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and holds full recognition from the Jordanian Ministry of Education.
