Sundial School Sint Maarten

Sundial School is a secondary educational institution located in Philipsburg, Sint Maarten, offering Basic Secondary Education (BSE) and Preparatory Secondary Vocational Education (VSBO) programs. Situated on the Pondfill in Philipsburg next to the Philipsburg Jubilee Library, the school operates under the Foundation for the Advancement of Secondary Education on the Windward Islands (SVOBE). Sundial School serves students in Forms 1 through 5, following the Dutch Caribbean secondary school curriculum and focusing on both theoretical and practical vocational training. The BSE program (known as Basisvorming) covers the foundational Forms 1 and 2, while the VSBO program extends through upper secondary levels. As part of the SVOBE network, which also encompasses Milton Peters College, Sundial School is committed to a holistic educational philosophy that develops students spiritually, mentally, and physically — preparing them to become productive, balanced members of the Sint Maarten community and beyond.
