Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School

Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School (STS), founded in 1971, is a distinguished independent co-educational day school located on a beautiful 100-acre campus in Okotoks, just south of Calgary. Serving approximately 500 students in grades 1–12, STS is accredited by CAIS and the Alberta Government and offers the IB Diploma Programme at the senior level. The school is internationally recognised for its exceptional outdoor education programme — one of Canada's finest — which integrates wilderness experiences, environmental stewardship, and leadership development. STS's IB results are consistently among the highest in Alberta. Graduates are admitted to the University of Calgary, UBC, Queen's, University of Alberta, and international universities.
