St. John's School Houston

St. John's School, founded in 1946, is one of Houston's most academically distinguished independent co-educational day schools, serving grades 1–12 in River Oaks. Accredited by the Independent Schools Association of the Southwest (ISAS) and SACS, St. John's enrolls approximately 1,260 students and boasts one of the strongest college matriculation records in Texas. The school offers a challenging college-preparatory curriculum featuring over 25 AP courses, a nationally acclaimed debate programme, and extensive arts and athletics. Its River Oaks location places it at the heart of Houston's most established residential neighbourhood, attracting the city's professional, diplomatic, and business elite. The school's small class sizes, dedicated faculty, and culture of intellectual curiosity produce graduates who consistently gain admission to the nation's most selective universities. St. John's blends traditional values with a forward-looking academic vision.
