Overseas School of Colombo

The Overseas School of Colombo (OSC), established in 1957, is one of Sri Lanka's oldest and most respected international schools, serving the expatriate diplomatic, UN, and international business community. OSC offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum — IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP) — from Early Years through Grade 12. The school is accredited by the IB Organisation and the Council of International Schools (CIS). OSC's diverse student body of over 500 students represents more than 40 nationalities, creating a genuinely international learning community. Located in the peaceful Pelawatte suburb near the diplomatic area, OSC offers modern facilities including science laboratories, a library, computer labs, arts studios, sports courts, a swimming pool, and a performing arts space. The school maintains small class sizes for personalised attention and employs internationally qualified faculty. OSC's university counselling programme has an exceptional record of placing graduates in top universities worldwide. The school is a founding member of the East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) and has served Sri Lanka's international community for over six decades.
