North Shore Country Day School

North Shore Country Day School (NSCDS), founded in 1919, is a distinguished independent co-educational day school in Winnetka, Illinois, one of Chicago's most affluent northern suburbs on the Lake Michigan shore. Serving approximately 540 students in Nursery through Grade 12, NSCDS is accredited by ISACS and is celebrated for its exceptionally low student-to-teacher ratio and its progressive, student-centred educational philosophy. The school emphasises critical thinking, creative problem-solving, and community engagement alongside rigorous college preparation. Its Winnetka campus serves families from across Chicago's professional North Shore community. Graduates attend Northwestern, Williams, Middlebury, Dartmouth, and Ivy League institutions.
