New York Schools — International Maarif Schools of Albania

New York Schools (NYS) is an international school operated under the Turkish Maarif Foundation in Tirana, Albania. Opened in September 2014, NYS has grown rapidly to become one of Albania's most respected international institutions, offering a modern curriculum from kindergarten through to high school. The school aims to set a new standard in Albanian education by combining rigorous academic programmes with character development, cultural enrichment, and a strong community of parental involvement. The school runs a unique Parenting School model, hosting structured dialogue sessions between the school psychologist and the parent community to strengthen the home-school partnership. Students benefit from a quiet and safe learning environment, supported by qualified international and local teachers. NYS focuses on academic excellence, social-emotional learning, and preparing students for global citizenship. The Tirana campus is located near the National Highway Tiranë–Elbasan, Km 5, close to Hotel Arandi in Farkë e Vogël. NYS is affiliated with the global Maarif Schools network and follows programmes approved by Albania's Ministry of Education and Sports.
