Lycée Français International d'Amman

Lycée Français International d'Amman (LFA) is the official French international school in Jordan, accredited by the French Ministry of Education and affiliated with the AEFE (Agence pour l'Enseignement Français à l'Étranger) — the global network of over 495 French schools in 139 countries. LFA offers a complete French national curriculum from Maternelle (age 2) through Terminale (age 18), culminating in the prestigious French Baccalaureate diploma. The school serves the French-speaking expatriate community in Amman as well as Jordanian families who wish a rigorous French-medium education, with OIB (Option Internationale du Baccalauréat) sections for advanced bilingual students. LFA's diplomas are recognised worldwide for university entrance, particularly in France and Francophone Europe. The school combines rigorous academic standards in French, mathematics, sciences, humanities, and philosophy with strong bilingual Arabic instruction and a vibrant cultural programme celebrating both French and Jordanian heritage. LFA maintains consistently high Baccalaureate pass rates and places graduates at top French universities and internationally. The school provides a welcoming, multicultural environment in west Amman for the growing French-speaking community in Jordan.
