Lycée Français de Beyrouth Verdun

Lycée Français de Beyrouth (LFB) is the official French school in Lebanon, operating under the auspices of the French Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE). The school has been a cornerstone of French-language education in Beirut for over a century, serving French citizens and Francophone Lebanese families alike. LFB follows the French national curriculum across its multiple campuses in Beirut, preparing students for the French Baccalaureate — one of the world's most recognized secondary qualifications — as well as the International Option of the Baccalaureate (OIB) for international students. The school also offers the IB Diploma Programme at select campuses. With approximately 2,000 students across all levels from Maternelle through Terminale, LFB offers a rigorous, literature-rich French education enhanced by multilingual instruction in Arabic and English. Graduates are prepared for admission to French Grandes Écoles, French universities, and international institutions worldwide. LFB is a vital cultural institution connecting Lebanon's Francophone community to France and the French-speaking world.
