LWIS-CiS International School Beirut

LWIS-CiS (Learner's World International School – City International School) is an accredited IB World School in Downtown Beirut, located in the Zokak Al Blat district. LWIS-CiS is a private, learner-centred co-educational school offering an American curriculum enhanced with the IB Diploma Programme for students from KG through Grade 12 (ages 3–18). As an IB World School, the school provides rigorous academic preparation for university admission in Lebanon, the USA, and internationally. The learner-centred pedagogical approach ensures instruction is adapted to the needs, strengths, and aspirations of individual students, fostering independence, critical thinking, and a genuine love of learning. LWIS-CiS is part of the Learner's World International Schools network, operating four schools across Lebanon. The school emphasises trilingual education in English, Arabic, and French — a reflection of Lebanon's multilingual heritage and a significant competitive advantage for graduates entering the global workforce. LWIS-CiS is accredited by international educational bodies and adheres to Lebanese Ministry of Education curriculum requirements, ensuring students are eligible for both Lebanese and international qualifications. The Downtown Beirut location makes the school accessible to families from across the city.
