Liceu Pasteur

São Paulo, Brazil

Liceu Pasteur (officially the Lycée International Français de São Paulo) is the premier French-Brazilian international school in São Paulo, established in 1923. Located in the Vila Clementino neighborhood, the school serves students from maternelle (preschool) through lycée (senior high school), ages 3 to 18. Liceu Pasteur is the only school in São Paulo authorized to deliver the French Baccalauréat — a diploma recognized internationally for university admission. The school follows a bilingual Franco-Brazilian curriculum, immersing students equally in both French and Portuguese languages and cultures. As an official AEFE (Agence pour l'Enseignement Français à l'Étranger) member, Liceu Pasteur maintains close ties with the French Ministry of Education, ensuring the highest academic standards. The school community is richly multicultural, welcoming Brazilian students alongside the children of French expatriates and families from around the world. It offers outstanding programs in arts, science, and humanities, preparing students for France's grandes écoles as well as Brazilian and international universities.
