Lead British International School Abuja

Lead British International School Abuja (LBIS) is a prominent co-educational international school established in 2007 as part of a family of schools with campuses across Nigeria. Located in the Gwarinpa district, LBIS follows the English National Curriculum blended with the Nigerian educational system, providing students with dual qualifications. The school serves students from pre-school through Grade 12, preparing secondary students for the Cambridge Checkpoint examination, the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE), Key Stage 4 IGCSE, West African Senior Secondary School Examinations (WASSCE), and Senior Secondary Certificate Examinations (SSCE). Students are also offered the option to take the SAT, facilitating admission to American universities. LBIS operates clubs, sports programmes, and school outings, promoting holistic development alongside academic achievement. The Gwarinpa location provides accessibility for families across Abuja's rapidly growing northern districts. As one of Abuja's longest-established British-Nigerian international schools, LBIS is trusted by both expatriate families and aspiring Nigerian families seeking globally competitive secondary qualifications for their children.
