La Scuola International School - Mission Campus

An International Baccalaureate Italian Immersion School, La Scuola encourages its students to ask questions and discover answers. The Reggio Emilia approach which treats children as protagonists in their learning, considering their curiosity as a tool for education. By combining this method with their language immersion program, La Scuola invites its students to engage a multi-cultural world confidently and with the appropriate tools. The Mission Campus for students K-8 is housed in a 130 year old building. Originally built as a church, the wood-frame building designed by Charles Devlin has been occupied by La Scuola since 2019 with big plans for expansion in the near future. Art, music and makers studios make up the core of the Reggio Emilia program and will offer students the ability to explore and experiment as they learn.
