Kunimoto Alberta International School

Kunimoto Alberta International School (KAIS) is an innovative all-girls international secondary school established in April 2020 within Kunimoto Gakuen in Setagaya, Tokyo. KAIS offers a unique dual-diploma program combining the internationally recognized Alberta (Canada) curriculum with the Japanese local curriculum, enabling graduates to receive both an Alberta high school diploma and a Japanese diploma simultaneously. The school serves girls in Grades 7 through 12 (approximately ages 12 to 18), providing a bilingual educational experience in English and Japanese. KAIS prepares students for university admission in both Japan and Canada, as well as other international destinations. The Alberta curriculum is highly regarded worldwide for its rigorous academic standards and is recognized by universities across North America and beyond. Kunimoto Alberta International School benefits from the long history and established educational traditions of Kunimoto Gakuen, while offering a distinctly forward-thinking, globally-oriented academic program. The school is well-suited for families seeking bilingual, internationally recognized education for their daughters in central Tokyo.
