Kathmandu International Study Centre

Kathmandu International Study Centre (KISC) is a culturally-diverse international Christian school that has been serving the expatriate and mission community in Nepal for nearly 40 years. Located approximately 7 kilometers south of Kathmandu city in the Patan/Lalitpur area, KISC provides excellent international education for primary and secondary students with enrollment of over 200 students from diverse backgrounds. The school was founded primarily for the mission community and remains committed to serving families working, living, and serving in Nepal. KISC offers a comprehensive curriculum based on international standards, with qualified international and local teachers dedicated to providing not just superb education but also a nurturing environment for students to develop into their best selves. The campus enjoys stunning views of the Himalayan mountains and is equipped with excellent learning and sports facilities. Beyond educating its own students, KISC demonstrates outward-looking values through EQUIP (Education Quality Improvement Programme), a teacher training initiative that works with approximately 20 Nepali schools to develop quality education across the country, making significant impact in both urban Kathmandu and rural areas.
