International School Stuttgart

The International School Stuttgart (ISS) is one of Germany's most highly regarded international schools, serving the large expatriate and multinational corporate community in Stuttgart -- home to global companies including Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Bosch. Founded in 1985, ISS provides an English-language education to students from Kindergarten through Grade 12 and is a fully authorised IB World School offering the PYP, MYP, and Diploma Programme. The school enrolls approximately 800 students from over 60 nationalities on its main campus in Degerloch and a primary campus in Sindelfingen. ISS is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), and maintains dual accreditation as an IB World School. The curriculum balances international academic rigour with opportunities for cultural exchange and language learning. Facilities include modern classrooms, science labs, a library, performing arts spaces, gymnasium, and sports fields. ISS graduates consistently achieve strong IB Diploma results, with a high proportion gaining admission to competitive universities in the US, UK, and Germany. Stuttgart's quality of life, central European location, and thriving international business community make ISS a natural choice for expat families.
