International School of Nantes

The Bilingual International School of Nantes (IS Nantes) is a private, bilingual French-English school offering quality international education from preschool through primary level in the heart of Nantes. Founded to serve international families and expats in the Loire-Atlantique region, IS Nantes provides a nurturing, inclusive environment where children develop genuine bilingual fluency in both French and English from an early age. The school's curriculum integrates the best of both the French educational tradition and internationally recognised bilingual teaching methods, ensuring children are fully prepared for secondary education in France or abroad. IS Nantes is recognised by the French Ministry of Education and maintains strong links with the local and international community. Small class sizes and a dedicated, qualified teaching team ensure every child receives personalised attention and support. The school offers a welcoming environment for children of diplomatic, expatriate, and international business families relocating to Nantes and the surrounding region. Contact the school via email or phone to arrange a visit and learn more about the admissions process for the upcoming academic year.
