International School of Milan

International School of Milan (ISM) is one of Italy's leading international schools, founded in 1958 and located in Baranzate, north of Milan. Educating students aged 3 to 18, ISM offers the IB Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and IB Diploma. Accredited by CIS and NEASC, and authorised by the IBO, ISM serves Milan's extraordinary international business and fashion community — the city is home to the European headquarters of major multinationals, and Italy's financial and design capital. ISM has a vibrant international community of over 60 nationalities and consistently achieves outstanding IB results. The school's modern campus features science labs, arts facilities, a theatre, sports complex, and extensive outdoor spaces. Italian language and culture instruction is a priority, enabling students to engage with Milan's world-class fashion, design, opera (La Scala), and culinary culture. ISM places graduates at top universities worldwide, including Bocconi, Politecnico di Milano, Oxbridge, and Ivy League institutions. Its combination of IB academic excellence and immersion in Italian culture makes ISM one of Europe's most distinctive international schools.
