International School of Madrid

International School of Madrid (ISM) is a family-owned British curriculum school located in the heart of Madrid, Spain, and a founding member of NABSS — the National Association of British Schools in Spain. Welcoming students from Early Years through Sixth Form (ages 3–18), ISM delivers the British National Curriculum alongside Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level pathways and the IB Diploma Programme. The school is renowned for academic excellence: its students have received more Cambridge Outstanding Learner Awards — presented to the highest-achieving students globally — than any other of the 130+ British school centres in Spain, with over 104 awards earned since 2009. Alumni go on to study at Oxbridge, Russell Group, Ivy League, and leading Spanish and EU universities. Beyond academics, ISM cultivates strong values, personal responsibility, and a vibrant international community. A recent parent survey showed 92% satisfaction with education quality and 97% reporting that children feel safe and happy, making ISM a nurturing environment where every student is known by name and supported on their individual path to success.
