International School of Los Angeles (LILA)

The International School of Los Angeles (LILA — Lycée International de Los Angeles) is Southern California's premier French international school, offering a rigorous bilingual French-English education for students from Preschool through 12th grade. Founded to serve the French-speaking expatriate community in Los Angeles, LILA has grown into a thriving multicultural institution welcoming families from around the world who seek a genuinely international education. The school offers a French immersion track from Preschool through Grade 12, following the French national curriculum, and an international high school track leading to the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. LILA holds triple accreditation from the French Ministry of Education, the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC), and the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO). The school operates multiple campuses in the Los Angeles area, including locations in Los Feliz, West Valley, and Westwood/Brentwood, making it accessible to families throughout LA County. Students graduating from LILA are exceptionally well-prepared for admission to leading French universities, American colleges, and international institutions worldwide. The school's diverse student body of over 1,600 students represents more than 60 nationalities, creating a rich multicultural community committed to global citizenship.
