International School of Geneva

The International School of Geneva (Ecolint) is the world's oldest international school, founded in 1924 and located across three campuses in Geneva and the surrounding region. A pioneer of international education and birthplace of the International Baccalaureate concept, Ecolint educates approximately 4,000 students from over 130 nationalities aged 3 to 18. Offering the IB Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, Diploma, and Career Programme, Ecolint is accredited by CIS and is an authorised IB World School. Geneva's extraordinary international character — home to the United Nations European HQ, WHO, WTO, ICRC, and over 200 international organisations — creates an incomparably global school community. Ecolint's three campuses — Campus des Nations, La Grande Boissière, and La Châtaigneraie — each offer distinct educational experiences within the IB framework. The school achieves outstanding IB results and places students at the world's finest universities. Ecolint is, historically and philosophically, the most important international school in the world.
