International School of Choueifat Beirut

The International School of Choueifat (ISC) is one of the most historically significant schools in the Middle East and the world — founded in 1886 in the Choueifat district south of Beirut, it is the founding school of the global SABIS educational network, which today operates in 15 countries across four continents. ISC Choueifat serves students from Pre-KG through Grade 12 (ages 3–18) using the proprietary SABIS Educational System, a research-based, academically rigorous curriculum with emphasis on English, Arabic, French, mathematics, and sciences. The SABIS system features regular weekly assessments, a student prefect programme (Student Life Committee), and comprehensive college counselling that has produced graduates admitted to the world's top universities. ISC Choueifat is located on a large campus in the Choueifat area with extensive sports facilities, modern science laboratories, arts spaces, and boarding options. The school's 140-year legacy and global network of alumni give ISC graduates a unique, lifelong professional community. ISC Choueifat is fully accredited and recognised by the Lebanese Ministry of Education. Its graduates are prepared for Cambridge IGCSE, SAT, and international university entrance examinations.
