International School of Budapest

The International School of Budapest (ISB) is a unique and highly regarded international school serving students from Kindergarten through Grade 10, ages 3 to 16. ISB is both a registered Cambridge International School and an IB World School, uniquely offering students both a Cambridge International accredited report and a state-accredited Hungarian report simultaneously. This dual accreditation makes ISB an exceptional choice for families who value international qualifications alongside local recognition. ISB follows the British National Curriculum enriched with Cambridge IGCSE examinations at Key Stage 4 (Grade 10), and offers the IB Diploma Programme for Grade 11 students. Founded to serve Budapest's diplomatic and expatriate community, ISB welcomes students from over 40 nationalities. The school provides small class sizes with dedicated specialist teachers, strong pastoral care, and a warm community atmosphere. Located in the Buda Hills, ISB benefits from spacious grounds and modern facilities. Graduates gain access to top universities globally through internationally recognised qualifications.
