International School of Aberdeen
Aberdeen, United Kingdom
The International School of Aberdeen (ISA), founded in 1972, provides a world-class international education to approximately 600 students aged 3 to 18 in northeast Scotland. Serving the international and expatriate community associated with Aberdeen's oil and gas industry, ISA offers the full continuum of International Baccalaureate programmes — the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), and Diploma Programme (DP) — as an authorised IB World School. The school is accredited by the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC). ISA's student body represents over 40 nationalities, creating a richly diverse and globally minded community. Set in a baronial mansion on a ten-acre campus on the western edge of Aberdeen, ISA offers excellent facilities including science labs, arts studios, a sports hall, and playing fields. Small class sizes — averaging 15-18 students — enable highly personalised teaching. ISA's strong outdoor education programme takes full advantage of Scotland's spectacular natural environment. Graduates consistently achieve strong IB Diploma scores and enter leading universities worldwide.
