International School Hilversum

International School Hilversum (ISH), part of the international Alberdingk Thijm Schools group, is a well-regarded international school located in Hilversum in the central Netherlands, serving the international community of the Amsterdam metropolitan area and the surrounding 'Gooi' region. Educating approximately 600 students aged 4 to 18 from over 50 nationalities, ISH offers the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) and secondary programmes leading to the IB Diploma and the Dutch VWO qualification, providing students with a flexible range of internationally recognised qualifications. The school is an authorised IB World School and accredited by the European Council of International Schools (ECIS). ISH's location in Hilversum — a leafy town close to Amsterdam, Utrecht, and the Schiphol international hub — makes it easily accessible for internationally mobile families across the region. The school's warm, inclusive community, strong pastoral care, and experienced teaching staff create an excellent environment for internationally mobile students to thrive academically and personally.
