International School Amsterdam

International School Amsterdam (ISA) is one of the Netherlands' most prestigious international schools, founded in 1964 and located in Amstelveen, immediately south of Amsterdam. Educating students aged 3 to 18, ISA offers the full IB continuum — Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, and IB Diploma. Accredited by CIS and NEASC, and authorised by the IBO, ISA serves a vibrant international community of over 60 nationalities, drawing from Amsterdam's thriving tech, financial, and creative sectors — the city is home to KPMG, Booking.com, Netflix, and many other international companies. ISA consistently achieves outstanding IB results and has an excellent university placement record at Oxford, Cambridge, Ivy League, and leading European institutions. The school's beautiful Amstelveen campus features exceptional facilities including a sports complex, theatre, science labs, and extensive outdoor spaces. Strong Dutch language instruction supports students' integration into Dutch life. ISA is widely regarded as the gold standard of international schooling in the greater Amsterdam area, attracting the most internationally mobile and ambitious families.
