Instituto Jesús María Córdoba

Instituto Jesús María, operated by the Sisters of the Company of Mary (Compañía de María), is one of Córdoba's most established and academically respected Catholic private schools. Founded in the mid-20th century, the school provides comprehensive bilingual education from early childhood through bachillerato, guided by the Madeleine Sophie Barat educational tradition of personal growth, community service, and academic excellence. The Instituto is accredited by the Argentine Ministry of Education (Ministerio de Educación) and recognized among Córdoba's top-performing institutions in national examination results. The school serves families from Córdoba's professional and business communities, emphasizing values-based education, bilingual proficiency, and holistic student development within a faith community. English is taught as a second language from early childhood, with multiple Cambridge Assessment English certifications available. Modern facilities include science and language laboratories, a library, sports courts, a gymnasium, and performing arts spaces. The school's community service program is particularly strong, connecting students to disadvantaged communities across the Córdoba region. Instituto Jesús María graduates are well-prepared for Argentina's university entrance requirements and for international academic opportunities.
