Holton-Arms School

Holton-Arms School, founded in 1901, is one of the Washington DC area's premier all-girls independent schools, serving grades 3–12 on a beautiful 57-acre campus in Bethesda, Maryland. The school enrolls approximately 650 students and is accredited by the Middle States Association and the Maryland Association of Independent Schools (MAIS). Holton-Arms offers an exceptionally rigorous college-preparatory curriculum featuring over 30 AP courses, a nationally recognised arts programme, and a philosophy of educating the whole girl — intellectually, artistically, and athletically. The school achieved national prominence in 2018 due to its connection to Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, highlighting its culture of women's empowerment and civic courage. Graduates consistently attend Harvard, Yale, Georgetown, and other elite universities. Holton-Arms prepares young women to be bold, creative, and compassionate leaders in a complex world.
