Harry Fultz Institute

Tirana, Albania

The Harry T. Fultz Institute is one of Albania's most historic educational institutions, founded in 1921 when the American Red Cross Youth Corps established the country's first vocational school. Named after American educator Harry T. Fultz, who led the institution for decades, the school has been a cornerstone of Albanian technical education for over a century. Located on Rruga Asim Vokshi in central Tirana, the institute offers vocational, technical, and general secondary education for students aged 14 to 19. The curriculum blends practical skills training with academic subjects, following both Albanian national standards and internationally recognized vocational frameworks. State-of-the-art workshops, laboratories, and modern classrooms provide hands-on learning environments across disciplines including engineering, information technology, economics, and hospitality. A member of the AmCham Albania business community, HFI maintains strong partnerships with industry and international educational organizations. Graduates are highly sought after by employers across multiple sectors and regularly gain admission to universities in Albania and abroad. Age range: 14–19.
