German International School Beirut

The German International School Beirut (Deutsche Schule Beirut) is the official German school in Lebanon, located on Bliss Street in Ras Beirut and recognised by the German Federal Foreign Office and the Zentralstelle für das Auslandsschulwesen (ZfA). The school offers the full German national curriculum from Nursery through Grade 12 (ages 3–18), culminating in the internationally recognised German Abitur — one of the world's most academically rigorous secondary qualifications. The school serves the German-speaking expatriate community in Lebanon as well as Lebanese families seeking a German-medium education of the highest standard. Instruction is primarily in German, with strong programmes in English, Arabic, and French reflecting Lebanon's multilingual character.
