French School of Sofia (Lycée Français de Sofia)

The Lycée Français de Sofia is the official French international school in Bulgaria, providing French national education to students from maternelle (age 3) through terminale (age 18) under the auspices of the French Ministry of National Education. Part of the worldwide network of AEFE (Agence pour l'Enseignement Français à l'Étranger) schools, the Lycée Français de Sofia delivers the rigorous French curriculum culminating in the internationally recognised French Baccalaureate (Bac). The school serves the French diplomatic and business community in Sofia alongside Bulgarian families and other international families seeking a French-language education. Students gain strong foundations in French language, literature, mathematics, sciences, and humanities. The school fosters bilingual French-Bulgarian and multilingual competencies. Graduates with the French Baccalaureate have direct access to universities throughout France and francophone Europe, as well as other international universities.
