Francis Parker School

Francis Parker School, founded in 1912, is San Diego's premier independent PreK–12 school, serving approximately 1,400 students across two campuses. Named after noted education reformer Colonel Francis Wayland Parker, the school is dedicated to developing knowledgeable, ethical, and skilled thinkers who serve the community. WASC-accredited, Parker offers an academically rigorous college preparatory curriculum with extensive AP offerings and innovative programs in global studies, STEM, and the arts. The school maintains strong international connections through its global education program, which includes partnerships with schools in China, France, and Japan. Parker's location in San Diego — one of the most culturally diverse cities in the United States with deep ties to Latin America and the Pacific Rim — infuses the school's curriculum with genuine international perspective. The school's exceptional college counseling consistently places graduates at top universities, and Parker alumni are distinguished leaders across all sectors of society.
