Fettes College

Fettes College is one of Scotland's leading independent boarding and day schools, founded in 1870 and spectacularly situated on a 100-acre wooded estate in north Edinburgh. A co-educational school for students aged 7 to 18, Fettes offers GCSEs, A-Levels, and the IB Diploma. A member of HMC and inspected by HM Inspectorate of Education, Fettes is celebrated for its exceptional academic standards, outstanding facilities, and strong boarding community. Alumni include former British Prime Minister Tony Blair and fictional spy James Bond (created by Ian Fleming, a former pupil). The school's imposing French Gothic architecture, spacious grounds, excellent sports facilities, arts centre, and science block make it one of Scotland's most beautiful campuses. Fettes welcomes international students from across the globe, with a vibrant community of over 40 nationalities. Strong university counselling ensures leavers gain places at top UK and international universities. Edinburgh's unique cultural and intellectual atmosphere enriches school life throughout the year.
