Escola Portuguesa de Macau

Escola Portuguesa de Macau (EPM), also known as Macau Portuguese School, is the premier Portuguese-language educational institution in Macau, China. Established in 1998 as a private, non-profit continuation of the former public Liceu de Macau, EPM serves students from grades 1 through 12 in the Sé (Cathedral Parish) district. The school is operated by Fundação Escola Portuguesa de Macau and receives partial funding from the Portuguese government, maintaining strong ties to Portugal's educational system. With approximately 713 students representing 20 nationalities as of 2023, EPM creates a truly international and multicultural learning environment. The school occupies the former premises of Escola Comercial on Avenida do Infante D. Henrique, a campus specifically designed to be more manageable than the former Liceu while still providing quality facilities.
