Escola Americana de Brasília

The Escola Americana de Brasília (EAB) is Brasília's premier American international school, serving the diplomatic, governmental, and international business communities of Brazil's federal capital since the early 1960s, shortly after Brasília's inauguration in 1960. EAB offers a comprehensive Pre-K through Grade 12 bilingual American curriculum leading to the US High School Diploma, and is accredited by SACS AdvancED and authorized by the IB Organization for the Diploma Programme. Located in the Asa Sul wing of the Plano Piloto, EAB serves approximately 600 students from over 50 nationalities — reflecting Brasília's unique role as host to all foreign embassies and major international organizations. The school's college counseling program maintains exceptional university placement in the United States, Europe, and Brazil. Facilities include science labs, technology suites, sports fields, a gymnasium, performing arts spaces, and a well-resourced library. EAB is celebrated for its multicultural, inclusive community, small class sizes, and strong pastoral care. The school maintains active partnerships with Brasília's diplomatic community, enriching students' global perspective through unique cultural exchange opportunities.
