Elmwood School

Elmwood School, founded in 1915, is Ottawa's premier independent all-girls school, serving approximately 450 students from Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12 in the historic Rockcliffe Park neighbourhood. Accredited by CAIS and the Ontario Ministry of Education, Elmwood offers the IB Diploma Programme — one of the few schools in the Ottawa area to do so. The school's Rockcliffe Park location — Ottawa's most prestigious residential community, home to ambassadors and senior federal officials — means Elmwood regularly serves the daughters of Canada's diplomatic and political elite. Internationally recognised for exceptional IB results and a culture of empowering young women, Elmwood's intimate size and exceptional teaching create an outstanding educational environment. Graduates attend the University of Toronto, Queen's, McGill, and international universities.
