EFEP — École Française Européenne de Podgorica

EFEP, the École Française Européenne de Podgorica, is Montenegro's accredited French international school, offering a French national curriculum to children from nursery through to the lycée level. Affiliated with the Agence pour l'Enseignement Français à l'Étranger (AEFE), EFEP provides a rigorous, French-standard education that is recognised internationally and prepares students for entry into universities across France, Europe, and beyond. Located at 22 Iva Andrića in central Podgorica, the school serves both the French expatriate community and Montenegrin families seeking a French language education. EFEP's multilingual policy integrates French as the primary language of instruction alongside additional language programmes, fostering genuine multilingualism in its students. The school is committed to eco-responsibility through its Eco-École programme and has been active in environmental education, including tree-planting projects in the school grounds. Students benefit from extracurricular activities, a canteen service, and after-school care. EFEP received a digital equipment grant under the ROAID programme, equipping classrooms with modern learning technology.
