Doshisha International School is an International Baccalaureate World School providing an English international education to the Keihanna Hills area between the Kyoto, Osaka and Nara prefectures. The inquiry-based learning curriculum empowers students to follow their curiosity while developing critical-thinking and problem solving skills. Through the values of Christianity, liberalism and internationalism, DISK hopes to educate students who are independent and competent but able to collaborate with people who hold a variety of perspectives and values. These values help to prepare students at DISK for the rigorous IB Diploma Program as well as whatever they proceed to after graduation.
