Dili International School

Dili International School is the leading international school in Timor-Leste, located in the capital Dili. The school provides an internationally benchmarked education from Early Childhood through secondary level for students aged 3 to 18, serving children of diplomats, UN personnel, NGO workers, and business professionals based in Timor-Leste. Dili International School offers a curriculum informed by Australian and international standards, preparing students for external qualifications that facilitate entry into universities in Australia, Portugal, and across Asia. The school maintains small class sizes and a close-knit community atmosphere, which is particularly valuable for newly arrived expatriate families adjusting to life in Dili. Co-curricular activities include sports, arts, and cultural programmes that celebrate Timor-Leste's rich Timorese and Portuguese heritage. Dili International School plays a vital role in supporting Timor-Leste's international community and in raising educational standards across the country.
