Curaçao American Preparatory School (CAPS)

The Curaçao American Preparatory School (CAPS) is an accredited, private, non-profit, English-speaking school on the island of Curaçao. Serving students from K3 (age 3) through Grade 12, CAPS delivers a U.S.-based curriculum with international influences, taught entirely in English except for foreign language classes. The school's curriculum is built on the Common Core framework and includes advanced high school offerings through Florida Virtual School (FLVS) and College Board Advanced Placement (AP) courses, preparing students for entry to universities across the United States, Europe, and Canada. CAPS is known for its small class sizes and family-like atmosphere, which promote individualised attention and strong relationships between teachers, students, and families. The school values critical thinking, creativity, and individuality, making it a popular choice for both expatriate families and locally-rooted Curaçaoan students who seek an American-style education. CAPS offers school tours by appointment. Prospective families may contact the school directly by phone at +599 9 736 8674 or email [email protected].
