Crawford International La Lucia

Crawford International La Lucia is the Durban campus of the ADvTECH group's Crawford Schools network, the most widely distributed independent school group in South Africa. Located in the upmarket La Lucia suburb on Durban's north coast, the school provides education from pre-school through Grade 12, offering the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) for primary students and the IEB (Independent Examinations Board) Matric for senior secondary students. The IB PYP's internationally recognised framework provides an inquiry-based, globally minded primary education that prepares students for transition to secondary international education anywhere in the world. The IEB Matric is widely recognised by international universities as equivalent to A-Level or IB qualifications. Crawford La Lucia serves a diverse student body including South African families, KwaZulu-Natal's substantial Indian community, and international families from the business and diplomatic community. The school's La Lucia location provides convenient access for families along Durban's north coast and the uMhlanga Ridge area — one of the fastest-growing residential and commercial zones in South Africa. Crawford's four-term academic year calendar aligns with South African government schools for family convenience.
