Concordia International School Shanghai

Founded in 1998, Concordia International School Shanghai is a co-educational day school in Jinqiao, Pudong, offering a comprehensive American-style education for students from Preschool through Grade 12. The school is accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) and is affiliated with Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, welcoming students of all faiths. With approximately 1,300 students from over 40 nationalities, Concordia provides a diverse yet close-knit learning community. The school offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses and an activities-rich co-curricular program spanning arts, athletics, and service. Concordia's curriculum centers on developing the whole child — intellectually, socially, spiritually, and physically — within a caring, values-based environment. Campus facilities include modern science labs, a library, performing arts space, gymnasium, and outdoor sports fields. Teachers are predominantly North American and hold advanced degrees in their subject areas. Concordia graduates consistently gain admission to universities in North America and beyond, making it an ideal school for families seeking a traditional American international education in Shanghai's Pudong district.
